The workshop aims to bring the geospatial topic to Python programmers. Geo data (raster or vector data with defined position in space, usually on Earth) can be managed by Python tools very easy. The workshop brings basic needed introduction to GIS and show some existing tools. We will also discuss some specific libraries, such as GeoAlchemy or GeoDjango and what do they bring.
